Hunger

Physical and mental health is compromised due to hunger. Students lacking the access to food can suffer from depression, malnutrition, underdevelopment of brain activity and many more health defects.

Hunger causes socio-economic problems, such as    school drop-outs, child labor, and an unstable household structure.

Non-availability of food in a household could lead to domestic violence and non-uniform distribution of food quantity.

Hunger leads to rise in criminal activities. Hunger, which is governed by economic factors, influences the criminal activity in the community. To support themselves or their family members, individuals are more likely to break laws.
